We should see today’s Gospel reading as a challenge to see what the Lord Jesus has entrusted to us. God has provided all that I need to produce a rich harvest for Him. He’s given me many tools that I can use in order to care for the part of the vineyard in which God has let me work. I am sometimes tempted as the tenants in the Gospel; it would be so easy to be greedy and see what I can get out of the crop just for myself. But to be a true follower, I have to remember it’s not about my needs or wants but it’s about bringing forth Gd’s kingdom.
