On November 18, 2018, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church celebrated the 100th Foundation Anniversary of the parish. Bishop Barry Knestout celebrated the anniversary Mass. Father Sean Prince, the Bishop’s secretary, and Father Oscar Paraiso, current OLBS pastor, as well as former pastors Father Edgar Cleofe, Father Scott Duarte, and Father Joe Toretto concelebrated the Mass. Father Robert Brownell, a member of the OLBS parish who entered the priesthood, was also a concelebrant. A papal blessing was presented.
After the anniversary Mass, the congregation and special guests went to the Parish Hall for a catered luncheon. Father Jim Arsenault, a former OLBS pastor, joined in the festivities there. A special cake decorated with both the former church building and the current church building was donated by Holly McGowan.
